Alexa Reagan B is a reporter and section editor for The Dateline. She graduated with her Associate of Arts from Lone Star College in May 2024 and is now a junior at the University of Houston-Downtown, majoring in English with a minor in Psychology. She reads widely across genres, from fantasy and romance to fiction and even non-fiction topics like physics, with a goal of reading as many books as possible in her lifetime. Through multiple upper-level English courses, she has developed a deep appreciation for grammar and sentence structure. Reagan loves to consider different perspectives in every story and enjoys exploring how people think. During the week, she spends her time making friendship bracelets, reading books, and teaching English to elementary students. On weekends, she can be found watching Formula 1 cars race in oddly shaped circles. A certified picky eater, Reagan challenges herself to step out of her comfort zone and try new foods—though she’s always happy to fall back on chicken nuggets and mac n’ cheese.
