Moira Estrada is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing at the University of Houston Downtown (UHD). As a native Texan, Estrada was born in Houston and spent her formative years in Austin before returning to her hometown in 2015.  Estrada’s passion for writing ignited during middle school, prompting her to pursue a major in creative writing and a role as a reporter for The Dateline. 

Although new to journalism, Moira is enthusiastic about honing her skills and expanding her horizons as a writer of trustworthy nonfiction content. When she’s not crafting compelling narratives, Moira can be found immersing herself in the world of video games, delving into a fantasy novel, or penning her own creative stories.
