Taj McNamara is a reporter at The Dateline and a video content expert. With 25 years of experience in mass communications including writing, editing, web programming, database programming, website construction and management, and over 15 years in social media management and promotions, she is a tech-savvy observer of many platforms and a variety of multimedia. Taj specializes in graphic design, animation, motion graphics, video production, and video journalism. Taj is a Strategic Communications major and is pursuing her MASC at UHD. She will be proceeding to study a PhD in Communications, Healthcare-focus to launch a program for Specialized Patient-Provider Communications. Originally from Colorado, she now works in healthcare communications at Texas Medical Center and for US ARMY MEDCOM and is a consultant for SharePoint and PeopleSoft UX/UI operations.  In the extremely limited time outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Taj is a fan of Game of Thrones, John Grisham novels, foreign cuisine, and spoiling her Great Pyrenees and two lovebirds.
